Below is the death notice of Donald Frank, Class of 1971. Father of Matthew Frank, Class of 1997 and Christopher Frank, Class of 2002 Please keep the Frank family in your prayers.
DONALD H. FRANK, age 70, beloved father of Matthew (Erin) and Christopher; cherished Grandpa of Lucy, Clara and Charlotte; son of the late Mildred (nee Loughlin) and Melvin Frank; brother of the late Barbara Conant; beloved uncle, cousin and friend of many. Proud graduate of St. Edward High School Class of 1971 and Cleveland State University. Passed away December 4, 2023. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for his Funeral Mass Monday, December 11, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park) at 11:30 A.M. Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., SUNDAY 2-4 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Edward High School, 13500 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107.
A graduate of St. Edward High School, he was always an avid Eagle. He continued his education at Cleveland State University before beginning a long career in sales. He was a longtime sales representative for several local companies and for several years he ran his own business working with manufacturers representing several brands. Changing with the times, he started in railroad equipment sales and grew into selling automation components and robotics.
An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing racquetball in several leagues. Don was a devotee of all Cleveland sports – especially the Browns and the Cavs – where he was a season ticket holder for decades. The summers were reserved for his true passion – boating. He was a member of the Cleveland Yachting Club for 41 years and had some of his best memories there on his Sea Rays and with his family and friends.
Later in life his true joy was being an enthusiastic grandfather to his three granddaughters. They were the joy in his life.
