Below is the death notice of Francis Straub Class of 1964, brother of John "Jack" Straub, Class of 1967 and Edward Straub, Class of 1968. Please keep the Straub family in your prayers."
Francis P. Straub Jr., age 77, Cherished father of Francis P. Straub III (Jennifer), Peggy Drumm (Andrew) and Joseph Straub (Jessica). Loving grandfather of Patrick, Julia, Elizabeth, Anthony, Joseph and Nicholas. Dear brother of Mary Kay Wojtylak (Max, deceased), Roseanne Remle, John "Jack" Straub (Alice) and Edward Straub (Sheila). Dear uncle and friend to many. Frank was a proud graduate of St. Edward High School and John Carroll University. After college, he served in the Army before a long career as a programmer for the Defense Finance Center. He was a faithful member of St. James Parish in Lakewood serving as a Eucharistic Minister and later as a Stephen Minister at Fairview Hospital. His faith, positive attitude and love of sports was passed onto to his children and grandchildren and he will always be in their hearts. Passed away July 6, 2024 surrounded by family. Funeral Mass Thursday July 18th at 10:30am at St. Raphael Church, 525 Dover Center Road, Bay Village where friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
