A dedicated Cleveland elementary teacher (McKinley School) and passionate college counselor (St. Ignatius High School), who taught, guided and advocated for students and their families for 38 years. A proud alumna of Lourdes Academy, St. John’s and Ursuline College, and an active member of the Community of St. Malachi where she raised her daughters in the social justice teachings of the Church, later returning to St. Patrick’s, her families’ church. Calm in a crisis, a woman of incredible strength, generosity, enthusiastic support for all those around her, and sassy wit. She was always up for an adventure, a new friendship, a big family gathering, a journey of discovery through travel or an interesting conversation, and the first to get up and dance when the music came on. She will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 24th at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 3602 Bridge Ave., Cleveland. Interment All Saint Cemetery. Visitation Thursday and Friday, February 22nd and 23rd, from 4-8 p.m. at FORTUNA FUNERAL HOME, 7076 Brecksville Rd., Independence, Ohio.
