Below is the death notice of James Gilles, Father of Peter Gilles, Class of 2014. Please keep the Gilles family in your prayers.
James Donald Gilles, 64, of North Ridgeville passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2023. Jim was born to parents Donald and Lynne (nee Feuchter) Gilles on May 25, 1958, in Amherst, Ohio.
Jim worked in IT leadership, was a Boy Scout Leader and coach of his children’s sports. He was also a Lector and Knight of Columbus at St Ladislas. Most of all Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, especially skiing and family game night.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; beloved children; Grace, Sarah, Peter and Maria; cherished siblings; Susan (Tom) Ricks, Nancy (Doug) Romer, Rita (Karl) Koenig, Terry (Sharon) Gilles, and Carol Gilles.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Lynne and his brother, Donald Jr.
In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to St. Ladislas Church, designated for Friends of Jesus.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Busch Funeral Home 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, OH. Mass will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 10:00am at St. Ladislas Catholic Church at 2345 Bassett Road, Westlake, Ohio.
