Below is the death notice of Janice Belz, mother of Geoff Belz, Class of 1986 and grandmother of Brendan Belz, Class of 2021. Please keep the Belz family in your prayers.
Janice Belz, (nee Prok), age 85, beloved wife of the late Raymond. Mother of Geoff (Heather); grandmother of Lauren Marcinek (Lou), Jacob Belz, and Brendan Belz; sister of Norma Koontz; aunt and friend of many. Jan was married to Raymond for 55 years. She was a dedicated teacher and mentor with Polaris Career Center for over 25 years. Jan was an ardent reader, enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending her son and grandchildren's sporting events. Family and friends will be received from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, August 13 at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake. Private family services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Polaris Career Center, 7285 Old Oak Blvd., Middleburg Heights, Ohio, 44130
