Grandfather of Seamus McIlwee, Class of 2018, Liam McIlwee, Class of 2021, Aiden McIlwee, Class of 2021, and Brendan McIlwee, Class of 2021. JOHN J. McCOURT, age 87; beloved husband of the late Ruth E. (nee Clayton); father of Jill McIlwee (Jim), John (Jill) and Michael (Molly); grandfather of Katie McCourt, Seamus McIlwee, Bridget McCourt, Liam, Aiden and Brendan McIlwee, and Jack and Kiley McCourt; brother of Mary Jane Nageotte-deceased (Mark) and the late Celia "Babe" Ross (Melvin); uncle and great uncle of many. U.S. Army veteran- Korea. Retired 67year member of IBEW Local #38. Passed away December 24, 2023. Funeral Mass Friday, December 29, St. Bernadette Church (2256 Clague Rd. Westlake) at 10:30 A.M. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD. THURSDAY 3-7 P.M.
