Below is the death notice of John Karliak, Class of 1956. Father of Daniel Karliak, Class of 1980, John P. Karliak, Class of 1983 and William Karliak, Class of 1985. Please keep the Karliak family in your prayers.
John S. Karliak, age 85. Passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024. Beloved husband of 63 years to Rita M. (nee Sopko); loving father of Dan (Chrissy), John, Bill (Sue) and Amy Karliak; dear grandfather of 10; brother of Vince, Rose, Mary, Lucy, and Josie.
John was a Retired Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Lakewood Fire Department. He was a proud alum of St. Edward High School and well as a proud member of their Stage crew.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 2, at 10:30am in St. Mark Church, 15800 Montrose Ave. Interment private. Come celebrate John's life Friday, March 1, from 4-8pm in the Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd. www.corrigancraciun.com
The Karliak family would like to extend their thanks to the Staff of Ennis Court. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Edward Marching Band.
