In Memoriam
Below is the death notice of Kathleen Lasby, Mother of Michael Lasby, Class of 1980 and Patrick Lasby, Class of 1981, and Grandmother of James Lasby, Class of 2012. Please keep the Lasby family in your prayers.
Kathleen Ann Lasby (nee McManamon) Age 87. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Dear mother of Michael (Regina), Patrick, Timothy, and William. Loving grandmother of Thomas, James, and Nathaniel. Sister of Thomas, Dennis, and Paul McManamon. Passed away December 31, 2024.
She sacrificed much to raise a family of four boys on her own. An organist at St Bernadette's for nearly 50 years, she touched countless families playing masses, weddings and funerals. Family was at the center of her life but she was also an avid gardener, loved riding her bike and rooted for her Cleveland sports teams. She also loved being near the lake and visiting Kelleys Island.
She set the example for us by living her life with humility, selflessness and generosity. These values and her memory will live on in us.
Funeral Mass St. Bernadette Church 2256 Clague Rd. Tuesday January 7, at 11:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call in the MCGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF WESTLAKE 25620 CENTER RIDGE RD. (West of Columbia) Tuesday 9:30-11:00 AM In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Blanket Sunday c/o St. Vincent DePaul Society 1404 E. 9th St. 3rd Floor Cleveland, OH 44114.
