Below is the death notice of Leo McGuire, Class of 1974. Brother of John McGuire, Jr., Class of 1972, Michael McGuire, Class of 1973, Mark McGuire, Class of 1977, Thomas McGuire, Class of 1978, Barry McGuire, Class of 1980 and Paul McGuire, Class of 1982. Brother-in-law of Daniel Marks, Class of 1984. Uncle of John "Jack" McGuire, Class of 2017 and Kevin Marks, Class of 2021. Please keep the McGuire family in your prayers.
LEO VINCENT McGUIRE , age 66, passed away after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer on August 30, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife Moira; by his dear sons Calvary, Jordan (Kati), and Zachary ; and grandchildren Ava and Grant. He is predeceased by his son Leo Dylan and his parents John Ryan and Florence McGuire. He is the brother of Maureen (Dennis Foster), John, Michael, Mark (Jamie), Thomas (Lori), Barry (Maureen), Paul (Patty), and Nancy Marks (Dan). Uncle of 21 and great-uncle of 10. Born and raised in Lakewood, Ohio, Leo graduated from St. Luke School, St. Edward High School, and Cleveland State University. He was a financial analyst for 45 years, and truly loved family, the outdoors, and his profession. He had great passion for everything he did. He will be remembered for his kind disposition and strong faith. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am on Friday, September 8, at St. Luke Church, Clifton Blvd at Bunts Rd., Lakewood. Interment at a later date. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME of WESTLAKE, 25620 CENTER RIDGE RD., THURSDAY 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
