Neal Novak Obituary
age 77, Beloved husband of Diana (nee Hamilton). Cherished father of Beth Kretschmar (Mark) and Catherine Novak. Loving grandfather of Jack Bachna. Dear brother of Sheelah Glovna (Peter), Gary (Judy), Kevin (deceased) (Janet Faye), Terry (Heidi), Noreen Hahn (Rich), and Tim (Joanna Stephens). Dear uncle and great uncle to many. Neal was a proud graduate of St. Ignatius High School, attended Youngstown State with a degree in Philosophy, and went on to a very successful career of more than 30 years in sales with the Sill Company and Deloitte. He was ordained as a Catholic Deacon in 2010 and spent most of his deaconate tenure at The Church of St. Clarence in North Olmsted, OH. Neal and Diana recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. He touched many lives in many ways and always had a story or joke to tell. Neal passed away on December 4, 2024. Friends may call at The Church of St. Clarence, 30106 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Monday, December 9 beginning with Vespers at 3:00 p.m. where Bishop Michael G. Woost will preside and Deacon John Travis will be the homilist with visitation to continuing until 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, December 10 at 11 a.m. where Bishop Martin J. Amos will be the main celebrant and Fr. Neil Kookoothe will be the homilist. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Catholic Charities 7911 Detroit Ave. Cleveland, OH. 44102.
