In Memoriam
Below is the death notice of Rosemary Cochran, Mother of James Cochran, Class of 1969, Thomas Cochran, Class of 1972 and Mark Cochran, Class of 1976. Please keep the Cochran family in your prayers.
ROSEMARY COCHRAN (nee Haas), born Oct 3, 1923, Rosemary passed peacefully on May 21, 2023, at the very young age of 99. She is survived by her husband of 73 years Reeves P Cochran; her six children – James (Laurie, deceased), Tom (Amy), Jane, Mark (Christine), Sally Olszewski (John) and Pat Harvat (Frank); ten grandchildren – Tom Cochran II (Nicole), Whit Gibson (Julie), Katie Holmes (Andy), Brad Gibson (Angela), Landel Cochran (Rachael), Brynne Cochran, Reeves Cochran, Daniel Olszewski (Amber), Amanda Olszewski, Matthew Olszewski; 15 great grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Godmother to several. Friend to all.
Rosemary devoted herself to Faith, Family and Friends. Volunteering her time, leadership, bookkeeping and organizational skills to several Church, Vocational, and Educational organizations for 60 plus years – National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW), The Avilas, Mother's Clubs at St Patrick W.P. Elementary School, St Edward High School & St Joseph Academy (alumna '41). She chaperoned countless school field trips, VOCALLY cheered at any and all sporting events, band concerts and drama performances. If her children were participating, she was in attendance . . . and you knew it!!!!
Rosemary will continue to be a role model and inspiration for all who came in contact with her. She is preceded in death by her loving parents Harry & Mayme Haas, and her siblings/in-laws Harry & Eileen Haas, Len & Rita Haas, John & Shirley Haas, and sister Rita Kaye (Bill – surviving).
The Cochran Family wishes to thank the O'Neill's Assisted Living & Hospice Care Teams for all their love and support to both Rosemary and Reeves.
