THOMAS J. SPONSELLER, SR. age 83. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Callahan); loving father of Karen Sponseller, Janet Doyle (the late Michael), Joan Sponseller, Annette Sponseller, Lauren Gottschalk (Kevin), Tom Jr. (Mary) and Carlyn Eschuk (Jesse); dear grandfather of Patrick Doyle, Brittany Spearry (John), Molly Sponseller, Kerry Sponseller, Grant Gottschalk, AJ Gottschalk, Kennedy Gottchalk, Camryn Eschuk and Jordyn Eschuk; great-grandfather of Cole and Grady Spearry; brother of Anne Bosch, Jack Sponseller (Liz), Cathy Sulzmann, Ben Sponseller (Susie), Jean Hurd, Greg Sponseller (Deb) and Dan Sponseller (Mary Fran); uncle and friend of many. Passed away July 24, 2022. Funeral Mass Thursday, July 28, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd.) at 11:30 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS WEDNESDAY 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions to Ames Family Hospice, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, OH 44145 would be appreciated.
