Below is the death notice of Tibor Major, Grandfather of Louis Slesinger, Class of 1988. Please keep the family in your prayers.
TIBOR MAJOR, 82, peacefully passed away at home Nov. 23, 2010. Beloved husband for 58 years of Magda; cherished father of Magdaline Kelly (Joseph) and Anna Major (Henry Guzel); treasured grandfather of Louis A. Slesinger, Samantha Kukuk (Timothy), Christine Reynolds (Michael) and Alexander Guzel; dear great-grandfather of Nathan Reynolds; best friends Lajos Molnar and Attila Balogh complete his family. Mr. Major was a graduate of the Hungarian Army Academy, later serving in the Hungarian Army as a captain and arms instructor. For 40 years he served as editor of the "Szittyakurt", the Hungarian Freedom Fighter newspaper. Services at the Hungarian Memorial at Sunset Memorial Park will be private. Contributions honoring Mr. Major suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
