TIMOTHY M. McGLYNN, age 74, retired Cleveland Police Officer, beloved husband of Terese Ann "Terri" (nee Rooney); loving father of Katherine McGlynn-Smith (Peter), Molly Darnell (Aaron) and Kevin (Karissa); proud "Papa" of Delaney, Annie, Maya, Betty and Maeve; son of the late Mary Jane (nee Brooks) and Russell McGlynn and son-in-law of the late Betty (nee Berry) and Charles J. Rooney; brother of Kathleen Collins (Tom), Michael (Rose Marie), Mary Mulhall (Kevin), Thomas (deceased) (Maureen) and the late Patrick; uncle and great uncle of many; best friend of Floyd Sand (Donna) and Bob Lee (deceased) (Elaine). The McGlynn family would like to thank Dr. Brian Appleby and Dr. John Eyre of University Hospitals of Cleveland for their compassion and care and also the staff at Danbury of North Ridgeville. Longtime member of the Retired Irish Police Society (RIPS). Passed away surrounded by his family August 20, 2022. Funeral Mass Saturday, August 27, The Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd.) at 10 A.M. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD. FRIDAY 3-7 P.M.
