Below is the death notice of William O'Sullivan, brother of Corky O'Sullivan, Class of 1981 and Marty O'Sullivan, Class of 1986; uncle of Dan O'Sullivan, Class of 2011, Conor O'Sullivan, Class of 2013, Stephen O'Sullivan, Class of 2017 and Jack O'Sullivan, Class of 2021. WILLIAM TEMPLE O’SULLIVAN (Billy)
DECEMBER 10, 1965- AUGUST 13, 2024-- Born to Cornelius Joseph and Eleanor Temple O'Sullivan in Lakewood, Ohio. Beloved by all who knew him, Billy is survived by brothers and sisters Molly Doss (Jeff), Libby Landers (Bill "King"), Helen Wirt (David), Jerry (Lisa), Nora Blackman (Chuck), Corky(Paula) and Marty. Uncle Billy was cherished by 20 nieces and nephews, as well as their 9 children, all of whom delighted in his company at their many activities, celebrations and family events. Billy attended school at Help House and Franklin Circle School and graduated from Green Road School in Warrensville Heights. He was enrolled for many years at the Warrensville Developmental Center where he received excellent training and experience used in his many years of employment. Billy worked at various organizations throughout Cuyahoga County, most recently at Parma ATC where he was, among other things, a beverage supplier. In 1991, Billy joined a wonderful band of brothers at Albion House in Strongsville, Ohio; some of their bonds reached back to childhood. Wally, Eric, Tony, Michael, Clarence, Anthony, and Devin, along with an amazing staff led by Robby, Sheila, Althea, Rose and so many more, created a loving special family who enjoyed daily life together. Billy retired in 2020 and spent his remaining years enjoying time with everyone he called family. Best loved were frequent outings in the Metroparks whatever the season, Holiday get-togethers and hot fudge sundaes. He was turned on to Dionne Warwick at a young age and her music provided him a lifetime of comfort. Billy was preceded in death by both parents and sister Kate(Dave) Family will receive guests at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. James Church, 17514 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, Ohio. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch in the lower church.
